Uniqlo Tate Lates Night In brings an artist-led programme direct to you. Join us online as artists across the world respond to the upcoming Zanele Muholi exhibition at Tate Modern. Expect artist talks, workshops, music, photography and film.

Stream 1 – Artist Talks, Workshops & Film
Introduction: Sabah Choudrey
🎤 Writer, educator and activist Sabah Choudrey will be your host for the night, introducing artists across the evening as they record from Tate Modern.
In Conversation: Mykki Blanco in conversation with Dazed’s Dominic Cadogan.
🕮 Hear from artist and activist Mykki Blanco as they chat to Dazed’s Assistant Editor, Dominic Cadogan, about their recent work and the enduring impact of Zanele Muholi.
Workshop: Portraits with Anshika Khullar
Inspired by Zanele Muholi’s Faces and Phases series, illustrator Anshika ‘Ash’ Khullar will demystify the drawing process and show you how to create your own black-and-white portrait.
✏️✂️🖊️ You can use materials you already have including paper, card, pencils and pens.
🎥 Video: Michèle Pearson Clarke, All That Is Left Unsaid
Trinidadian-Canadian artist Michèle Pearson Clarke’s All That Is Left Unsaid (2014, 3 min) mobilises the montage technique of the supercut to create space for all that cannot be expressed in words.
Footage of the late feminist writer and civil rights activist Audre Lorde opens on to a poignant contemplation of grief and vulnerability. The video is introduced by the artist and Tate curator Valentine Umansky.
🖼️ Digital Display: Queer Communities in the Frame
Hear from international photographers who are highlighting QTBIPOC communities across the world as they talk through their inspirations and practice, featuring Charmaine Poh, Ka-Man Tse, Kia LaBeija and Mikael Owunna.

🎹 Music: Lil C in Tate Modern’s Tanks Programmed by BBZ
Recorded in Tate Modern’s iconic Tanks, tune in to a DJ set from Lil C. Programmed by BBZ, a South London based collective who prioritise the experiences of queer womxn, trans folk and non binary people of colour.
